In Search of Life

Author:Anna Tikvah, paper back 248 pages. First published by the Christadelphian Scripture Study Service (CSSS) in 2003. Reprinted February 2015.

The first book in a series of four novels.

Verity Lovell witnesses her father's funeral and begins to ask questions about life after death. Had her father truly gone to heaven when for most of his life he'd been drunkenly abusive, mocking anything and everything religious? Determined to find the answers for herself, Verity decides to read the Bible. One question leads to another and soon she discovers some fascinating promises God has made to the world. While she is occupied with her search, her older brother, Thomas, gets into trouble that he should have known to avoid. Will she be able to help him? Or forgive him? And what part does her kind, new friend, Peter Bryant have to play? Will the answers she finds support all of them through tragic, heart-breaking pain?
